Donations totes are available to purchase at the front of stores to catch the customers attention before they begin their shopping. Donations totes detail on their reverse a shopping list that is suitable for different household sizes—the individual, and increases in increments of one-person up to a five-member household. Customers may shop for the goods themselves, or simply purchase the bag and it will be filled by employees of the grocery store. The Donation Totes are then distributed to food desert communities.

The Gather & Give app provides the ability to order healthy groceries to those who do not have the resources to otherwise obtain healthy goods. The app allows shoppers to order from their phones, or if they do not have phones or internet access, it is also available for use at kiosks in local convenience stores. Users create and are approved for an account and may then navigate through pages of fruits, veggies, grains, and other tabs that correlate to what one would purchse in a grocery store. The app also features community resources and ways to connect with other users.

Goodwill Rebrand

Goodwill is often seen as a store that sells undesirable clothes, possibly unclean and in poor condition. With this rebrand, Goodwill speaks to retro trends and draws the interest of those who like to thrift and “hunt for hidden treasures,” so to speak.
